PICOTE Millers are the original high-speed cleaning machines for fast and effective cleaning of pipes and drains. The high-speed Millers are powerful, multi-use machines. The model you require is determined by the size of pipes you work in and the work that you need to complete.
Picote millers are used for mechanical cleaning, internal removal, pipe wall preparation, reinstatement, and other controlled work inside drains and pipes. The right machine depends on pipe diameter, shaft size, access, and the type of work you need to carry out.
The range starts with the PICOTE ProLITE 6 & ProLITE 8, which are battery operated machines for drain milling, cleaning, descaling, and blockage removal in smaller pipes. The ProLITE 6 is designed for DN32 to DN75 with a 20 metre 6 mm shaft, while the ProLITE 8 covers DN50 to DN100 with a 15 metre 8 mm shaft. Both models have adjustable speed, reverse rotation, foot pedal control, and an electronic safety clutch.
The PICOTE Mini Cleaner is built for cleaning, descaling, and root cutting in small pipes. It comes with an 8 mm shaft in a flexible outer casing and is designed for DN32 to DN100. The standard range is 16 metres, and the included toolkit is aimed at DN32 to DN40 work with cleaning panels, chains, brushes, and a Smart Cleaner Hub.
The PICOTE Mini Miller uses an 8 mm shaft with a thick outer casing and is designed for DN50 to DN150. It is suited to controlled milling and internal removal in small to medium diameters. The machine has a 16 metre range as standard, can be extended by 10 metres, and runs at 500 to 2900 rpm.
The PICOTE Midi Cleaner is designed for DN50 to DN150 and sits between the Mini Miller and Super Midi Miller. It uses a 10 mm shaft with a thinner outer casing for more flexibility around bends, while still giving the strength needed for heavier cleaning work. It has a 23 metre range with extension possible and runs at 500 to 1500 rpm.
The PICOTE Super Midi Miller is built for cleaning, descaling, root removal, and cutting or reinstatement work in DN70 to DN150. It uses a 12 mm shaft with a thinner casing for a balance between strength and flexibility. The machine has a 20 metre range, can be extended by 10 metres, and runs at 500 to 1500 rpm.
The PICOTE Maxi Miller is aimed at DN70 to DN250 and is built for heavier work such as scale removal, roots, concrete, failed CIPP liners, reinstatements, and brush coating work when used with the right setup. It comes with a 12 mm spring in a thick outer jacket, has a 30 metre range with extension possible, and is designed for the most powerful accessories in the Picote range.
The machine is only one part of the setup. Pipe diameter, shaft size, and the type of cleaning or reinstatement work all affect which configuration is suitable. For users who want to expand or complete their setup, Picote kits combine commonly used accessories and tooling for specific applications.
A Picote system works with tooling that matches the shaft size. That is why No Dig World separates the range into 6mm Picote accessories, 8mm Picote accessories, 10mm Picote accessories, and 12mm Picote accessories. This makes it easier to choose the right tools for cleaning, opening blockages, preparing the pipe wall, or carrying out more specific internal work.
Ongoing use also means replacing worn parts and adding tools for specific situations. In spare parts you can find the components needed to keep the machine in service.Â
Picote grabbers are used when loose material, debris, or other objects need to be retrieved from the line during cleaning or preparation work.
If you are deciding between the ProLITE, Mini, Midi, Super Midi, or Maxi machine, it helps to base the choice on pipe diameter, shaft size, and the type of work you carry out most often. For advice on the right setup, you can contact us.
